Never thought of including knee pads in tool bag. Light weight and practical.
If welding was involved, there has to be a story to tell. And WJCO for the save with his Mac's vice and welder.
Looks like you boys had some fun.View attachment 327738

Famous last words. :cheesy:
Just a bit more than you bargained for?
If welding was involved, there has to be a story to tell.

Nice! Awesome that you guys were able to help out some fellow Jeepers in need.We were about 10 minutes from airing up after a very long day and rolled by a couple Jeeps in trouble. Guy ripped a control arm bracket off his front axle (D30 on an LJ).
WJCO to the rescue with a hitch vice to straighten it out and a trail welder to get it attached. Really saved the day for those folks. :clap2:
I did find out on the way home that it is super awkward to use the cruise control when it's down by your knees. Found the bend in the drag link when I got home.
This guy did just about every obstacle without a spotter! Impressive on this trail.
The worst part about a trail like this is the pictures are not even close to what it's actually like.
Glad you found it quickly. Hope the drive home wasn't too annoying.
This trail really was way more difficult than any pictures or videos I saw on the web. And you kicked ass out there with your open diffs.
The only disappointing part is that my brand new drag link made it exactly 1 day on the trail.
I think we were both misled as to the difficulty of this trail but I had a lot of fun.
What drag link are you running?
