Critter Tread - Trapping

Something pulled down my birdhouse partway last night and emptied all the seed, and bent the support bracket. Camera picked up nothing so maybe it doesn't pick up motion at night. Squirrels never do this in the day so I suspect raccoon. I put a tactacam camera on the area. We shall see. This one won't be released. FAFO.

Similar to my mom’s bird house this weekend. Cat jumped up there and bent the bracket.

Nice, you have 2 cameras watching birds now. Double the bird picture posts now

This guy was tangled up good this morning.

I don't think I posted but a day after catching this guy, I caught another in the same spot. This is before they were fucking with my bird feeder. It was really hard to release the 2nd one as he had got in a tough spot.

I hadn't seen a coyote in so long I just set off the traps and piled them up and left them out there.

Here's tonight's irony. Dickhead walked right by a pile of 6 traps.

First time I've had this happen. Single little rock keeping the trap from closing. I never leave rocks or sticks around. I'm guessing something walking by did it at some point in the last week. Luckily no coyote in that area last night. I would have been pissed. But right next to it was this guy, so he probably is the one that set off the other.

I have a feeling the bird feeder bandit is one I've released before. He isn't touching these traps. He's going out of his way to avoid them. I've tried old baits, new baits, marshmallows, cat food, dog food, etc. This new one is grape kool-aid poured down the bait hole. He comes through here every night and knows this new smell is like the government offering free money. Smart mofo.
