I pulled yote traps about 3 weeks ago due to such little activity. But last night one came through. Right to the spot where the last one was killed about 5 weeks ago. They usually don't stay in one spot more than a few seconds but this guy sniffed around for six minutes. I'll probably re-set this area for now.

This yote came back two hours later and investigated every spot I've had a trap. Got him on four different cameras.

Yeah, I do enjoy yote content. I have hunted them, unsuccessfully, with my bow and an injured rabbit call. If I had property I’d definitely be trying my hand at trapping too. Used to watch that Mountain Man show and enjoyed the trappers, Marty and the old guy in Colorado.

As frustrating as it is having them around, there is some enjoyment in strategically trying to catch them for sure. If they weren't so hard on deer and people's pets/chickens, I couldn't care less that they hang around.

I've learned to physically check traps and not always rely on the camera. Had a few catches now with no camera trigger. This morning was another one. Mitch McConnell here didn't move a muscle. No idea what time he was caught.
