Probably cause they don’t have feet they have hooves.I have not had one in a trap but they've been close. Supposedly the way their legs are, it's really unusual for them to get stuck in a foothold.

No catch yet but every morning bait gone and cage knocked over. Decided to put a camera out and see what it is.Something is digging under my front sidewalk. Kids say they saw a chipmunk. Cage trap has been out for a week. In the mornings it's tipped over, likely coon doing that. So today I beefed up the small artillery for whatever it is.

You gonna skin it?My wife has been taking care of the neighbors barn cats while they are out of town. She told me yesterday morning that the last two nights something had knocked over the crate that was housing the cat food. Figured I knew what it was. Set a trap last night and this morning had this little guy. Hopefully no more issues tonight.

I know brute wanted an opossum or two. Think he will still want them?
Where the hell are you? Did you move? Thought you were in Colorado.OK. It's time. What have you caught? What do you want to catch? What struggles? What tips/tricks?
I am still chasing my coyote. I have tried numerous baits lures sets urine. Never ends. The more I watch him on camera though the more I learn. Sadly, I have caught more non-target critters in the coyote traps so I put DPs out to contain them, lol. But it works.
I moved out of there years ago. Way east now. I've actually looked at some of the snare stuff and considered it. The game trails are thick and would hold nicely. Glad to hear you've had success.Where the hell are you? Did you move? Thought you were in Colorado.
I’ve never caught a coyote in a leg hold. Caught a ton of coyotes in snares. Snares are cheap, easy and you can get a nice trap line going with them. I’ve caught too many skunks, coons, possums in live traps and leg holds. My favorite was live trapping bobcats. That was a ton of fun. Do you have bobbers where your at?
Talk about a fucking jinx. It's hot as hell and nothing moving on cameras. This fucker just showed up. Right at a coyote trap I haven't touched in days. And this is deep in the woods. No visual attraction. We both need to buy a lottery ticket. My favorite was live trapping bobcats. That was a ton of fun. Do you have bobbers where your at?
Ha!Just noticed the title lol Critter Tread
And in "The 8th Slot" section!Just noticed the title lol Critter Tread
Is that your snapper? That's a good idea. What bait?Do aquatic critters count? Built a trap two days ago to catch this sob and he was right next to it today. Didn’t go in though.
