Critter Tread - Trapping

The ones I've released, I put a feed bucket over them with a small cutout near the lid area so I can free their arm from the trap. I've literally had them grab the bucket and pull it out of my hands lol. They don't fuck around. Good grip strength.
I woke up one night to one tearing up our 17 yr old cat. Ever since then they all have an automatic death sentence.

I may have missed the back story but what was your reasoning for trapping them? Pelts, nuisance, trapping experience? Persistence and perseverance paid off.

In our area they are considered a nuisance animal. They carry rabies and other diseases that can be transmitted to people and pets. My neighbors and I will take out dozens each year. I don’t know how much they migrate, but our efforts seem to reduce activity for a while.

They ran off my deer. I have video of them chasing a doe. Deer have pretty much disappeared since they showed up. I have two neighbors with small pets and one with chickens. No one wants them around here.

I saw a guy online that found a den and put a camera on it. The mom brought in over 20 fawns for the pups in one season.

Fuck the yotes.

Makes total sense. Figured it was more to rid the area of them. Glad you finally got a couple
