Ok so I swung by Americas Tire today and got the quote for install of a set of 5 Nitto TG 35"x12.5"x17 and they won't install on factory 08' wheels. Min spec says 8.5". I believe the factory are 7.5. I know I have seen people around here with them on factory wheels. What's the secret to getting them mounted?

I just talked to the guys at Chico one. They did with no issues. There was no magic or bribing lol.

Have a shop up by me that will do it also.

This might be in my future, I enjoy being married, so I'm sure this will save me from divorce papers!

really not that hard. Hardest was trying to figure out how to take everything apart. I know that Crippledpetey has a set of factory heated seats. may be an option also.

Did you get them mounted? If not hit me up... I know where you can get them mounted without a problem. ;)

So we have an issue in the house about how uncomfortable the back seat is. I'm typically not part of this discussion as I drive. However now that my son is about to get his license, I have found myself in the back seat several times. It is not my favorite seating position I will admit. So I have looked up how to make them more comfortable and to be specific reclined more. There is the add nuts method, there is the make shims method but I found these by Minuteman Machine.

Jeep Unlimited Rear Seat Recline Spacer Kit (Fits only 4-door models)

They claim to add 6 deg of recline to the seat over stock. I didn't like the other 2 methods as it seemed a bit hokey but these are blocks of durable Aircraft grade 6061 Aluminum, not plastic! And they claim Easy installation: no seat removal necessary although they say the factory bolts were put on by The Hulk himself.

The reviews seem good. Nice solid construction and even have an instruction video on YouTube.

We will install in the next week and let everyone know our thoughts.

I guarantee that man did not loosen all 8000 seat bolts with that tiny ass ratchet. Unless he has the worlds strongest forearms or been single all his life, they used an impact and an extention.

The annoying thing is that there is threadlocker all over those bolts that keep the resistance on until the last turn. I removed my seats alone with a long torque wrench and it was miserable, just do yourself a favor and use an impact and extention where it can fit :D
