CJ buggy build

Been having fun with the new mill and my CJ kinda got put on the back burner. Finally got back into it. I cut the upper control arms but they're still around 3ft and I through them on the mill to get a square cut cause why not.20171201_171826.jpg20171129_204705.jpg20171201_175042.jpg thinking about shortening the lowers to the same length as the uppers. Took advantage of black Friday and ordered a fuel cell mount. I have a fuel cell on order from summit but it's estimated ship date isn't until the 8th next month.20171129_202002.jpg20171129_202012.jpg started high steer arms for my knuckles. The flat stock I'm using is too thin, so I'm either going to build it up with weld or weld another piece on to it then mill the 10° offset for the steering linkages.20171121_220620.jpg20171122_213934.jpg20171122_213943.jpg20171123_204452.jpg

Looking good! It's been awhile since I've seen you post anything on the CJ. I'm eager to check it out when I get home. I hope your TJ is still up for numerous trips next year.

Thanks man. I've been playing around on my mill and had a few big jobs at work. When ever you get some free time you're welcome to come over. The TJ needs a new clutch and probably throw a new throw out bearing in too. I put a different thermostat in it and that's helped keep the temp down.

I tested out the flex and for binding on the new control arm setup. I'm pretty happy with the results. Didn't see any binding. I might move the lower brackets to under the uppers for more triangulation. 20171202_140324.jpg
