Bullwinkle Gladiator Build

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m afraid of. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø Damn Commiefornia! May have to look for some mud flaps just in case.
They can throw the book at you. First off, bead-lock wheels are (mostly) not DOT certified, or have the ability to become certified, due to old federal and state laws banning multi-part wheels. The fenders are too narrow since they do not cover the tire. And then there are the missing mud flaps. Lastly, your Jeep looks too good and may distract other drivers.

What is the number of your local sheriff so we can inform the authorities?

If you get stopped make sure and say these three statements.

#1: I know my rights!

#2: Shouldnā€™t you be arresting real criminals?

#3: Fuck the police!

If you say those things youā€™ll be good. Promise!
At least in California. Other states (red ones) you might not get away with it

Here they are all installed minus the spare. Iā€™m loving the look! Now I canā€™t wait to get the lift installed in a few weeks. I will say itā€™s a huge difference in the feeling and how it drives compared to stock. Iā€™ll get used to it quickly though. lol

So what you guys think? Will I get a fix it ticket for not having mud flaps? šŸ¤Ŗ

Looks awesome Ray! Welcome to the Machined gang - good call haha.

As far as the tires go I think youā€™ll be fine. Worst Iā€™ve gotten is a no front plate ticket back when I didnā€™t have a winch, and havenā€™t seen any of my friends with Jeeps get one either for the tires and we all live down here in SD.

Thanks Presley! Yea the machines look, looks really good especially with the blue Jeep.

Yea Iā€™m starting to think that Iā€™m overthinking the ticket thing šŸ˜‚

Looking great Ray, in regards to ridge grapplers I think youā€™ll be very happy, Iā€™ve ran them on gladiator, JLU, and Full size diesel trucks and all have performed well for me, snow, rain, road, etc. but I will say that the tread like to fill up in snowy conditions, but it never made me feel as if I was losing much traction. Certainly everyone has different experiences, and every scenario is different, Jeeps are light and will never be as grounded as some heavier vehicles on snow/rain so itā€™s just part of it as well. I sometimes wish I had them on my 392 as they are much quieter and smoother than trail grapplers but nothing you canā€™t get used to lol.

Thanks! Iā€™m glad you had a good experience with the trail grapplers. So far Iā€™m liking them quite a bit. I do like how quiet and smooth they are. I canā€™t wait to get them out on the trail.

After installing the wheels and tires I test drove it on the highway. While all was smooth when I got to 68 to 75 I felt a pretty good shake so Iā€™m at Americas (Discount) tire to get them balanced. Sadly they said they couldnā€™t road force balance them due to them being true beadlocks. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø I guess any balance is better than nothing. Hoping it will make things a bit smootherā€¦

Yeah, mine needed no weights up to low 70s then had a shimmy. AT added some weight strips and did a dynamic balance on them and were then smooth as silk. Youā€™ll be fine Iā€™m sure.
