Bullwinkle Gladiator Build

Ray, a word of warning with the Ridge Grapplers in the rain. In my experience, when in rain they do tend to hydroplane, but about the same as the KO2s I used to run. However, I have lost traction in the rain and slid at only 35mph, the anti-locks kicked in and I rolled into an intersection. Of course, it was a red light camera controlled one too. 🤦‍♂️ Anyway, just give yourself a little extra room to stop.

Oh wow ok thank you for the warning. Definitely something I’ll pay attention to and expect. I’ll let my fiancé know as well since she uses it for work too. How would you say they are in the snow? I usually drive even more cautious but still curious how they perform.

I’ve been in the snow twice with them so far. The first was earlier this year with wet snow over ice. I had to air down below 5psi to even move, I literally sat there and four wheel spun in place. Was out a couple of weeks ago with 8+ inches of fresh snow and they did great at 5psi. We’re going up near Shasta on Saturday where there should be over a foot or more of new snow after this week’s storm. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Dang that doesn’t sound too promising. Seems like they only really perform well in dry conditions. Definitely let me know how they do. I guess if I don’t like how they perform I will be switching up to something different later on. You planning on keeping these same tires next time around or going a different tire?
