Bruiser

Took the Jeep down to Jeremy at @Disciple Off Road for some big, long-needed, upgrades. They did such an amazing job and super happy with how everything turned out. I thoroughly enjoy driving my Jeep again… it’s been a long while!

Installed:
- PSC steering with new PSC power steering pump
- EVO high clearance long arms
- EVO bolt-on 2.5” King coilovers w/adjusters
- King bumps
- EVO sliders (LODs don’t fit with long arms)
- EVO front fender liners
- RCV shafts for the FAD

Looking forward to testing out in the rocks, and especially in the desert this summer!

Here’s some progress pics Jeremy sent…

Cutting off old brackets, welding on the new ones and even painted the axles!

Cut off short arm brackets and welded on the new long arm brackets, and yeah, he painted my frame!

Changed up the radio mic mount also. Had the Gear Keeper on for the past couple years and it was awesome. However, on really bumpy roads and in the desert, the mic was flying all over the place. I noticed Eddie and Cindy switched over to a magnetic mount in Jaws and I decided to give it a try too. Eddie gave me the link to theirs on Amazon and mentioned that you have make some adjustments for it to work correctly. I had to dremel the screw heads down so they were slightly lower than the surface of the magnets. If you don’t the magnets won’t have the holding power you need.

Looked around for the best place to mount it and settled on the mirror. 😂 I’m fully aware of the cheesiness but it works really well for me there. Easy for me to get to and central enough that Robyn can get to it as well.

Very awesome Mike! Badass upgrades and I like the radio mounting idea. I so want to paint the axles and frame on the JK someday too - maybe when I get a new front axle.
