Brrrrr! Winter's here....how cold is your jeep?

I suppose hell would be much warmer than that :brows:

It happened a few times but its rare. We often see some -20 -25 although.

I guess you guys all have really heavy duty engine block heaters? The hydraulic fluid starts to be unusable at -15 I would think your oil and gas would be solid at those temps.

lol

yes we do have bloc heaters but we keep them plugued all night long and it starts like it's summer. We have special gaz here that don't freeze uneless there is water in it, which never happened to me. and for the hydraulic, well, yes it become real stiff stuff when it's that cold but, we let the engine warm between 5 and 10 min before we go, so it warms it a little bit. We often see blown power steering pressure hoses when we get such cold temps.

I work in a dealership and we have prepared a bunch of F250 trucks for a mining corp up north (meadowbank, nunavut) And they get often -58 -60 farenheit

No MTG I usually plug it in at night. I did forget to plug it in the other night, it was -36c and the old girl started. It complained alittle but it started.

haha we're used to have such cold temperature here too, and It is always plugued when below -10c (14f). Starts much easier and warm up a lot faster.

It may be winter here in central Maryland but its going to be in the 60's on Sunday and I will for sure be taking my top off, maybe doors too if I feel like getting crazy :wings:
