Brrrrr! Winter's here....how cold is your jeep?

24 degrees when I got home. That's BBQ weather if you ask me!

3 easy steps:

1: Shovel snow to BBQ.

2: Turn it on to melt ice because you forgot to cover it.

3: Dress like "winter" Mel Wade

There you have it!

That sounds like us. We grill year round.

I just use a 125,000btu space heater. It was 17 degrees outside today, but it was 65 degrees in the garage. :thumb:

Must be nice! I spent 4 days of our winter shutdown installing the EVO rockskins and carrier, and my LoD sliders in an unheated garage in central Illinois. Froze my ass off... Space heater would be nice...

To bad your not closer. I would have been more than happy to fire up the heater and give you a hand.

Haha, that would have been great! Not too many real wheelers here on central Illinois. There's a local jeep club, but they are mostly older models and all have swampers on them. Real ratty rigs, covered in rust. Not too many JKs that are both trail worthy and DD.

My carrier and skins have been ordered. I figure with the money I save doing the install myself I can afford a space heater for the garage (and a good nutsert tool).

Well, that and some decent boxed white wine and some Sprite in order to lure Sharkey over to help me. :cheesy:

Nice try. In this weather I expect hot chocolate and schnapps.

LOL! You got it mi amigo. How's some tri tip sound for dinner?

Seriously, with as cold as its been I was thinking about just dropping the spare until spring. But if you're in I'm in!

If you two can install the carrier it's proof anyone can!!!

Ouch! That comment stings of truth! Maybe Sharkey and I should get some sort of "comedy of errors" discount? ;)
