Awesome. I see they had to cut the sliders off. Are they just re-welding the old ones back on?

It should go up. Motech videos stated with the L86 and 8L90E they were seeing around 17 mpgs (fully built up with 1-tons, 40s, etc). They did mention that the L86 likes to run on 91 octane or better.

Eddie, curious to know why ya’ll chose the L86 over the LT-1? From my understanding, it is basically the same engine (even the compression ratio) and the LT-1 was cheaper/easier to find a donor. Either way, the Gen V and the 10 speed sound be an awesome edition to Moby. I look forward to hearing your review seeing as I’ve been looking at a similar setup for some time.
