The IRS is moving its national income tax filing day ahead to July 15 as part of a growing effort to stem the financial pain from the coronavirus pandemic, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced Friday.
The move gives Americans three months more than they otherwise would have to file their income tax returns.
“At @realDonaldTrump’s direction, we are moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15,” Mnuchin wrote in a tweet about the extension.
“All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.”

I'm self quarantined my family for a few days. I found out a few days ago that my wife and i were on a plane with a guy that tested positive to Coronavirus. It was a small puddle jumper plane so he couldn't be to far from us. Just for precautions we are just going to Netflix and chill.

We landed in our hometown airport and he went to dr and tested positive. They asked him if he traveled and said yes. He gave them the flight numbers and they said them on local news. Our family knew we had traveled on that day and called us and asked if we were on that flight. And sure enough we were.

Thank you sir. It had been 13 days since that flight and we feel good. But that dont mean we aren't carriers without symptoms. We are just taking precautions so we dont pass it on.
