ANOTHER WINDSHIELD Bites the Dust - What Number are You On?

What is not covered:

If it gets broken
Haha, yea it’s pretty lawyered up like most warranties. Dealership seemed to think Chrysler would honor it. I’m pretty sure the language is mostly for like if you’re in a tornado and a tree goes through your windshield, they won’t cover it. Or if Walter Sobchak comes by and beats it in with a bat, they won’t cover it.

However, time will tell…

Thank you Sir, I really appreciate the information.I’ll call the dealership Monday.
Yea good luck. I’ll believe it when I have a new free windshield, but I would suggest giving it a shot.

The dealer submitted my claim and said they’d call when they heard something. They also said they had 10 windshields on back order and would be waiting for those , if approved. I’m gonna go with Clyde on this one, and be pleasantly surprised if they repair it for free. Thank you again, Clyde.

Cool man. Hope it works for you.
Dealership ending out telling me to go die.
Jeep Wave also told me to die.

Said it only applies to a second windshield after the factory one.

Pretty disappointing.

Jeep wave did give me a number to call Mopar directly. Unfortunately I’m out of time before our trip in a couple weeks. I think I’m gonna come out of pocket and get a new one through satellite. Maybe fight about the invoice later with Mopar.

@DirtHeadDavis, can I just get the new one calibrated later? I don’t imagine it will throw some code if I don’t calibrate it right away…?

WTF?? only applies to a second windshield after the factory one? so... you pay for coverage but it's not on the actual windshield that needs it, it's on the windshield you do not have on the Jeep yet, that's some BS bait and switch.

hope you filed a complaint with your local attorney general and though it may be a waste of time, the FTC https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
