That looks awesome! It’s the perfect stance, and yeah, they should come stock like that. Do you like those Rancho RS7MT shocks? Are they as good as the 9000XLs?
Damn youWhen I said that Cindy and I would never modify our 392 and were happy to keep it stock forever, I meant it. However, now that we have it sitting on about 4" of lift thanks to a Rancho Crawler Suspension system and riding on a set of 38" Nitto Ridge Grapplers mounted on KMC Grenade Crawl beadlock wheels, I'm kind of kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I mean, holy hell, this is how it should have come from the factory or at least, in my opinion.
When’s the order getting placed?Damn you
Nope not gonna touch itWhen’s the order getting placed?
For now… lolNope not gonna touch it
Thanks! We're pretty happy with what we seeWoohoo! That looks perfect. Such a clean look.
Sooooo much goodness I think we are all glad you ended up giving in Curious to
your feedback on how the 38’s feel with the 3.73’s even with the 392.
Still working on a couple projects and need to calibrate the speedo and have a lot going on right now but hope to start driving it in earnest soon.I think the 392 was even bumped down (or up rather) to 3.73s! Probably won't have a problem still
Thank you. We really like this setup a lot. That’s a great look with the 38’s and KMC wheels.
Thank you and yes, I do like the RS7MT as they offer a more solid ride. Firmer than 9000XLs but for me, in a good way as they feel more responsive. That looks awesome! Haven't had a chance to really drive this thing but hope to as soon as I can. I will be sure to post up about itLooks great. Really curious about your honest opinion in the feel of power now with that large of tire on it.
LOLThat looks good, 38's are a good fit
burnout video coming soon? lol
Thank you. I was hard pressed to do it but now I'm super glad that I didLooks great Eddie!!

Thanks! Been dying to test it out but have had a lot going on. Still need to calibrate the speedo too and once I do, I'll try and get some real seat time in. I will say that since installing the new bigger spare, my collision avoidance system has been kicking off any time I put it in reverse. I think it's because the camera sees too much of the wheel. Anyway, that's the only negative thing I've noticed so far.Eddie,
The look is amazing. I can’t wait for a review of how the 392 changed after the lift and tire upgrade. I am very happy with how my 392XR drives on the highway but I am also happy with the performance off road. I am planning a long trip from Alabama to Colorado in Sept with some off road adventures between Colorado Springs, Salida, and Breckenridge. Please let us know how this lift, wheel and tire change effected the stock performance of your 392. Again, thanks for sharing.
I bought the XR to avoid doing any lift. I love the stock wheels to avoid replacing them. And then you do this…. Damnit. Thanks! Been dying to test it out but have had a lot going on. LOL - trust me, I get it. The XR wasn't available when we placed our order but even still, we weren't planning on doing any of this.I bought the XR to avoid doing any lift. I love the stock wheels to avoid replacing them. And then you do this…. Damnit.
The thing looks awesome. But yes the temptation is real .LOL - trust me, I get it. The XR wasn't available when we placed our order but even still, we weren't planning on doing any of this.
But, you have to admit, the temptation is very real for you now
