I’ve been spread out between all of my projects, but I got a chance to work on my AlumaJ8 this weekend

You do beautiful work.

I am a little lost on the front bumper/winch mount, but I'm sure it will become apparent once you do some more work on it.

The winch will be mounted on top. There is a rib/flange on the back that still has to be bent upward.

You do beautiful work.

Thank you guys for the kind words. By the way... My ADD has gotten worse... 😅

I bought a 1983 Peterbilt 359 with a 400hp Caterpillar 3406 and 13spd to turn into a show truck.

My Peterbilt is kept at work for now. I work for a firetruck manufacturer/dealer. I’m a diesel tech for a day job. I use to be a limousine specialist technician. Building vehicles is a hobby... so far. Someday Timmybilt will be an actual business.

Always something cool going on in your shop!

When you do what you love, you won't "work" a single day.

With the quality in your builds, you will do well.

Nice Pete too. Good old mechanical engine, not the electronic POS found in all the new rigs

Tomorrow I will get to work on the bumper. The fairlead mount showed up today

Wow!

That bumper is a beast. You could use it as a battering ram and not hurt it from the looks of it.

I finally tack welded the rear bumper in place. I also got my tie rod assembly from RPM Steering for an ‘05 Superduty.
