2019 Drummond Island July 31, 2019 - August 4, 2019

That was probably my favorite run to Drummond to date! You couldn't have asked for better weather. Blue skies everyday, althought a bit of rain at night to knock the dust down would have been nice. We had a great group of capible Jeeps and covered 87 miles of trails on State land and then tore it up in Turtle Ridge. Here's how the trip went:

Day 1, Inland Trails:

Morning Meet up at the Resort before heading in.

Crossing Conard's, it wasn't too bad, only about 30" deep.

And then thru Tight Twisty's which really earned it's name this year.

Day 2 was the Marblehead run, we ran the trail start to finish with only one bypass at an impassable mud hole.

our group grew a bit as RST8ROX's friends arrived.

Then back down the Trail thru Conard's hole towards Marble head:

And Then a bit of climbing on Marblehead where I learned the importance of turning on your lockers...

Great shots Bill. Those TJ rigs were awesome. I rode in one up one of the obstacles in the afternoon Saturday - pretty impressive.

Thanks you! I got a bit of Brute's disease there. Can't get them to flip the right direction

It was great meeting all of you. Could not have asked for a better crew and times. Looking forward to more. This time you boys are coming down our way. I need a break from driving!
