2013 Billet JKUR SLOOOOW Build

The ride is looking good man! I am guessing the length of the isolators is contributing to them being over flexible. Maybe some thick rubber tubing inside of them to help stiffen them up a bit? Side note, I have the stock 3.21's in my JKU and will be getting new wheels/tires soon. Guess I will be sticking with 33s(ish) cause I hear 35s would be too much. Any experience with 35s and 3.21s?

Thanks! I haven't. I had 4.10 from the factory and went from the stock 32's to 37's. It kind of depends how much your really want to go bigger as that will determine what else you'll have to pony up.

Got the new tires offroad for the first time today wasn't disappointed. Boy do the sling some mud in combo with the cut fenders.

Jeep looks awesome! What kind of mileage are you getting with the 4.10s and 37s? I've been trying to decide to go 35s or 37s and won't be able to regear for a while.

If your thinking of 37s then hold off till you can do the 37s. I was in your same boat at one point and so glad I went with 37s over 35s. I would have been pretty mad at myself if I would have gotten 35s. Tire envy is a bitch so do it right the first time.

I agree with this completely!

That's what I am leaning toward right now. I know once I get the 35s I will want the 37s. Have you upgraded your front driveshaft or put the c gussets on the front axle yet?

I upgraded both of my driveshafts and really glad I did. It's nice being on the trails knowing you have stronger ds. I did the c gussets as well, well worth it. I know it seems like a lot to have done but you will be happier with the 37s then the 35s. Just my two cents

I did the gussets. I'll do the shafts as they break or show signs of pending failure. I'd love to do it all up front, but I just can't for now.

Picked up some 1/2" coil spacers for the front since it appears to have sagged a bit. Wondering if I could take a shortcut by renting a spring compressor and just slipping it in instead of unbolting the sway bar links, draglink, and loosening control arm bolts? Think the bushings would end up binding anyway? I was thinking with that small of a change it wouldn't really matter much.

Haven't posted up in a while. Not much going on in the way of mods, although I had to replace a wheel after a caliper went through my passenger rear wheel. I'm a bone head and must not have gotten one of the caliper bolts torqued to spec when I did my rear brakes a few hundred miles back. Luckily no one was hurt and it didn't damage the tire.

Finally got out for some wheeling last weekend.
