Got a surprise day off today for the new federal holiday finally had time to finish mounting the Trail Readys and the new longer lug nuts showed up this morning perfect timing. Still gotta put the skins back on and weld the sliders but 1 thing at a time View attachment 364263View attachment 364264

Jeep is about 1" skinnier now too that the spacers are gone. Sure don't look like it though haha

Welp finally took it for a test drive and she is smooth as butter through 70mph no balance needed and no tire pressure light with the TPMS I pulled off the old wheels.
Stoked about that. Next up is the weld on Evo sliders.

Got the welder out and all set up today and did some test passes. Should be good to go on the sliders once the frame paint I ordered gets here. So excited to get these on, that with the beadlocks are some dream parts I'm finally make happen.

Well the welds aren't glamorous but got the first one one. I love these sliders and even if it's not pretty I did it with my own tools in my own garage which I'm happy about

Thanks! I have been able to do everything myself other than the rear re gear thanks to this forum. Not the prettiest jeep out there but I'm having a blast along the way

You’re welcome. I have a 2 door that I bought about a year ago and have been slowly building it. I’ve been watching yours come up and really like it. I’ve done quite a few things to it from regular maintenance to customizing it thanks to this forum, too. Keep up the good work!
