    Drag Link won't unthread

Got the Allen wrenches and plugged it in. Nut is still spinning without loosening. So I ordered some bite sockets to see if that will work. If nothing else I will have to call someone over to cut it off.

    Drag Link won't unthread

I'll definitely go and grab some Allen wrenches tomorrow and give it a shot before I beat the hell out of it. Thanks again man.

    Drag Link won't unthread

Where would you recommend I beat it? Not a lot of area for momentum up there. I can bang the bottom of the drag link end and maybe the front of the pitman arm but the rest is pretty tight. And maybe I am just tired from the long ass day and the heat, but what would beating the shit out of it do...

    Drag Link won't unthread

From what I could tell, the stud is not spinning. It is just the nut.

    Drag Link won't unthread

I watched the video of you replacing yours like a thousand times, I don't remember seeing you use one. The nut will thread off it I keep an Allen wrench in the center of the bolt?

    Drag Link won't unthread

Hey everyone, so I am having some issues trying to get the nut off the bolt on the pitman arm. The nut is spinning without threading off. I am not sure what to do here and wondering if anyone has any advice. It took forever and a lot of PB to finally get it to break loose, but now it just spins...

    Steering Stabilizer Q's

Appreciate it gents. Going with the cheap one. Lol.

    Steering Stabilizer Q's

I am not ordering from them, just used them because they had links I could use and they came up first when I searched the stabilizers. I have a couple local offroad shops that carry both models nearby. The one I have on right now had zero resistance left in it and moves like a bicycle air pump...

    Steering Stabilizer Q's

So I am going be upgrading my steering stabilizer while I am installing my new steering components, and I keep reading that getting one with the pass-through body is recommended, but I found a couple from Fox and I am not sure which would be more applicable to my own needs. So there seems to be...

    Shock leak?

Turns out it was a manufacturer defect. The knuckle wasn't installed properly where the reservoir hose meets the main shock body. The vibration of the impact wrench caused it to crack and leak hydraulic fluid. King repaired it and I got it back yesterday.

    Shock leak?

Damn I was afraid of something messing up with these bad boys. King is behind manufacturing by at least 4 months and my retailer is sold out of the shocks. Kings warehouse is right around the corner from me. So if I have a manufacturers warranty can't I just take it over to them and have it rebuilt?

    Shock leak?

So I was installing my new 2.5 res king shocks and right as I was bolting the shock up with the mount in the rear, I start getting pissed on by a clear oily fluid. It was kind of all over the shock by the time I got it unbolted from the mount so I am not entirely sure where it came from, but the...

    Electrical Issues

The previous owner said that the mechanic thought that either it was because it was flooded at one point or another with a wire exposed, but it sounds to me like they were just guessing. I haven't taken it to anyone yet as it is currently more of a QOL problem for now. I have a family friend of...

    Electrical Issues

Alright everyone, so I am sure some of you have noticed I have been on here asking a ton of questions. I bought the Jeep the way it is and the previous owner didn't get any information from the owner before him. So I am working on pretty limited information here. To the point, since I have...

    Rear Shock Orientation Q'

Yeah I figured as much. Lol. Oh well, should be easy to redo now that everything has been done recently. Just not looking forward to compressing those bad boys again. Thanks for the reply.

    Rear Shock Orientation Q'

Hey guys, so I just learned after some searching and reading that I actually put my King Res shocks on the front on the wrong side. So that got me wondering about the rear. I have the reservoirs pointing inward. Now I couldn't get them to clear with the reservoir facing the rear of the vehicle...

    LF Control Arm Orientation

Oh damn so I did put them on backwards. Okay, it would have helped if they came labeled or with instructions in the box. It's all good, I have to tear everything off anyways. I also put all my shocks on the wrong sides and I am replacing the whole front end steering set up tomorrow so might at...
