Updated Texas Hidden Falls Adventure Park Newbie Run Oct 2nd-3rd

Ok so; here is my initial thought regarding trail itinerary for 2 groups. The basic idea is that we would split off at Area B (Star), and then run trails that naturally meet back up again at Tower (Heart) where we can regroup, take pictures up with the scenic view / eat lunch / etc. My goal is...

Quick shot from the "clearance testing" (read: photo shoot excuse) this evening.

Updated Texas Hidden Falls Adventure Park Newbie Run Oct 2nd-3rd

*whew* cool I felt bad - thanks for understanding fellas. This is awesome news; if radley wants to co-lead a group with usmc, then maybe usmc can run tail-gun on their group so his fam can check out the other folks making their way up obstacles for added enjoyment :) Either way thanks for...

Pictures of any four doors on 37s

35s if you want the most cost effective but still "beefy" look to your jeep. 2.5-3" budget boost will clear but if you rock crawl a lot of ledges like hidden falls, the combination will still result it belly slaps at break over. 37s on a 4+" lift if you want to solve most break-over issues, but...

    Mopar High Clearance Flares

Not a fan, personally. When I see these and the stock flares, all I can think of is:

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 3 Part 2 37" Nitto T̶r̶a̶i̶l̶ Mud Grapplers April 2015 Right about the time that I was obtaining the new suspension, I was also trying to get my hands on the de-facto JK Experience / Wayalife (at the time) 37" rubber that propels the big dogs up and around these insane obstacles. Go...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 3 Part 1 Phase 3 was/is all about getting to the next level of suspension/tires in preparation for a JKX candidate build. Upgrading to 37" tires meant my existing TeraFlex 2.5" setup wasn't going to cut it, and I wanted to move into the EVO LA kit that would (at least in part) bridge over...

Texas Hidden Falls Adventure Park Trek: October 2nd-3rd

Caught up on first post and responded to PMs with some other trail recommendations. FM TRO is a risky call just due to time factoring (3+ hours easy) and some unavoidable tougher spots that have been affected by the rains. I'd see how comfortable folks are doing some of the fenceline work and...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 2 Part 2 Smittybuilt CRES2 Cargo Netting and Cab Cover February/March 2015 I gotta say.. Smittybuilt may not be my brand of choice, but for the price point, this cargo net effing rocks. I priced out a lot of options, including buying a bunch of rings and polypropylene straps to make my...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 2 Part 1 Phase 2 really kicked in towards the end of the Summer 2014. After wheeling the Jeep every chance I could get at several local parks, I quickly realized that depending on (and waiting for) park-provided systems to air back up was for the birds. As the year pressed on into the...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 1 Part 3 Poison Spyder Flares (Narrow) March 2014 The final bit of body armor on the agenda was to swap out the stock painted flares for steel ones. There's different schools of thought between cutting stock and having them purposely be flexible, but by this point I had been out wheeling...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 1 Part 2 EVO Rock Sliders February, 2014 This is the project that got me in touch with what would be my go-to brother for Jeep wisdom. I wanted to go the weld-on route with them, so I did all the prep and paint work myself, and then asked around until I was put in contact with a shop in...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Phase 1 Part 1 Cobra CB & Firetick Antenna February, 20014 My first real priority was getting some communications installed in the Jeep. I had a club/newbie run coming up and with it being stupid cold outside I wanted to do my part in limiting how often the trail guides had to stand outside. I...

    Project "Thanos" Build

Project Thanos Build Whelp, I've been on here for a while now, and I've always meant to get a build thread going, but I think I was waiting for a significant mod before doing so, just so the first bunch of updates weren't all minor. Most of the work you'll see here I've done with my own two...

Texas Hidden Falls Adventure Park Trek: October 2nd-3rd

Count me in :) Hidden Falls is my playground so if you have an questions about the park I can probably answer em (I can also help spot when we're there) I may also have another Wayalife buddy that might be down to come, but I don't think he's very active on the forum so he may just not know...

What was done to your rig this week?

I'm so stoked right now. Just got back from the shop where my buddy and I just finished swapping out the D30 for a new PR44 with all the fixins on my rig. Took a lot less time thankfully cause them boys from NorthRidge know how to set 'em up; now I'm ready for 37s :)

    Jeep Photo Challenge

Crappy phone pic, but this was getting the EVO sliders welded on, one of the first mods done to my rig  Next challenge: Your jeep packed, being used to help someone move or haul a bunch of non-jeep related stuff.
