    So did some digging and talked to someone at Currie. Apparently about 1-2 years ago Currie switched to auburn select-a-lock Lockers (probably why I haven’t ran into the mentioned issues).

    @Disciple Off Road how are the EVO’s 3M rocker skins? I’ve been looking at them and was considering them over the bolt on versions, I really don’t want to drill into the body. Do you recommend them or just go with the bolt on version?

    Sounds about right, with how hot Vegas is I hate running that high due to Oil temps. But I’ll install an oil cooler sometime before next summer to keeps those down.

    Definitely preference after the hemi conversion and running 38’s on 5.13s I would say it’s a lil high for highway driving. Currently sitting at almost 2500 RPM at 75 so I think 4.88s is the way to go depending on where you live and speed limits.

    @WhiteBronze392 All things considered personally I wouldn’t do the portals. It’s a lot of money to be putting in stock axles especially since the FAD will always be a factor. And honestly would you ever fully trust them when it’s all said and done? It would suck to do all that and still break it...

They added a lot of leverage to it by basically increasing the axles length. Not to mention moving the center point...

    Only way to really take stress of the pitman arm and gear box is by adding hydro assist and even though you just moving the weak point in your steering to the tie rod. Plus I want to know what he was doing to fuck up a pitman arm.
