JL Dana 60 in a JK

The control arms mount locations on the rear are the same not sure about the sway bar links. But the shocks mounts a definitely mounted differently. As for the font I believe it’s completely different than the jk’s.

    Evo coilover question

What I did was trim the coil spring perch to give more clearance. I haven’t had a chance to fully flex it out to see if that fixed everything.

    Evo coilover question

I ran into the same issue but be careful when you shift it. The upper control arms have pretty tight clearances and if you bias it to far passenger it will contact the inner frame. I found out the hard way lol.

    Evo coilover question

EVO’s shock tower is taller and pulls the coil over toward the rear of the Jeep allowing for a longer shock without sitting high to maintain its low center of gravity. As for the binding question. EVO’s kit allows the most suspension travel of any bolt in set up. So you may run into issues since...

VIDEO : Does Geometry Really Make a Difference? SEMA 2023 - BONUS

It looks pretty similar to the rock jock raised knuckle and track bar relocation kit. The rear looks pretty interesting. Will they be selling it only as a full kit or can you mix and match? Hoping that they will give some competition to rock rock and their high steer kit.

What was done to your rig this week?

Switched out the front axle and dialed in the alignment. May have to due some adjustments to the bump stops though. I think there may be some clearance problems with the oil filter and upper control arm.

    Front end humming

Had that happen to me at one point you can remove the fad and pull the shaft and inspect the secondary shafts bushing. You can also put it in 4 Hi and see the sound goes away. If that is the issue can by a replacement bushing or upgrade to a different shaft. I went to a two piece RCV shaft...

    Eaton Locker or ARB Locker

38’s but there a lot I don’t thing your taking into consideration. With a 60 you lose ground clearance due to the larger center section when running any size smaller than a 40. The ball joints in the hybrid set up are a lot smaller than on a FF 60 since it’s the D44 outer. You’re still going...

    Eaton Locker or ARB Locker

Not sure, I believe they had that one custom made with that center section. Positive only in that they work but the flange will always be the weak point like others has said. And now I’m kinda stuck in a situation where if I want to go bigger I’m buying new axles again. Only silver lining is...

    Eaton Locker or ARB Locker

Unpopular opinion went the Currie 60/60 hybrid route (only due to wanting a bigger ring and pinion after the v8 swap). I felt like I was in borrowed time in my current set up in the D44s. Over all I’m happy with it so far and only pulled the trigger after talking to the folks at synergy since...
