Don't know if you've seen it or not but thanks to the orange man bad tariffs, most US automakers are now offering discounts on their vehicles. Needless to say, Jeep just posted up their new FREEDOM of CHOICE Pricing program and with it, you can get a $7000 cash allowance on select 2025 Gladiators and 10% or about $5600 below MSRP on 2024 gas model Wranglers EXCLUDING 392.

Well hoping these tariffs have their intended affect. Glad to see this response from Jeep instead of increasing prices.

Well this from VDH really explains the tariffs. Your correct these companies using the tariffs as excuses are kind of desperate. But I hope they can move some stale inventory. I’ve read the 392 Wrangler is not part of this promotion so wonder what that tells us about demand.

I was at my local dealer yesterday lots of 24’s left over one brand new 2025 392 Rubicon X $102,978 😳

Wonder if they’ll ever go down. @DirtHeadDavis, thoughts?

Wonder what the production cost difference is between a 2-door sport and a 392 Rubicon X.
The sell price is $70,000 different.

Maybe they are still trying to make money back from the added assembly line required to produce 392s? maybe it’s just supply and demand…

I feel like you can get a pickup with 1 tons and a V8 for $65K. I wish Jeep would add UD60s to the 392 if they are charging 6 figures.

Excellent video. I urge everyone to do some deeper research on the subject. Remember that many of the people saying that tariffs won’t work have been wrong consistently about a great many things. It makes you wonder are they stupid or do they wish to perpetuate a certain situation.

Reference the UD 60’s. I wonder if it’s a weight concern- as in if the vehicle weighs more it moves it in to a different category? With the diesel Gladiator you could not get the optional spray in bed liner because of this and it was confirmed by an insider it was due to the weight. It would be awesome to get UD 60’s from the factory!

In addition Jeep pays a fine for each 392 they sell.

There is an amazing amount of Gov control relating to these issues. It is mind boggling really.

Jeep is 100% committed to EV and a big part of the BIG price tags they have on all their vehicles is to help subsidize them.

Surprisingly, the carbon footprint on a 2-Door Wrangler is bigger than a Challenger. On the 392, Jeep tacks the emissions penalty onto the selling price.

I had forgotten about the “one project is operating at a loss so we will funnel money through another project” accounting scheme. Too bad.

392 down, no. We're getting 2025 model years of them in fact - so two years of a "final" edition lol. Charger, hopefully - what a f'n waste of lot space. Almost as bad as the Hornet and Wagoneer S.
