The larger knob that surrounds the power/volume knob is the squelch adjuster. Pick a channel and then slowly turn that knob to the right until the static stops. That's right where you want to be.

Eventually you'll want to tune your antenna but this will get you by until you can

Thanks! That worked... But now I don't hear anything... Is that because no one is out there? I'd expect to hear at least one or two...?

Yea there will have to be someone on the other end so you can hear. You're only going to have a 3-4 mile range on it, many less in town so it's hard to know if anyone in your area will be on the same channel and on at the same time as you. When we all meet up we can test them out

Awesome! Thanks so much! I was worried. That makes perfect sense! Now I need to get to a meetup!

No problem at all. Maybe one of these days soon we can head over to Carnegie SVRA. It's a small 4x4 area but it's close for both of us and we can work on a few things and test out the CB's.

What days work for you?

That's awesome. I generally work in sf during the week. Gert off around 5 but can leave earlier too.
Can we do that when I get back from Japan? I Gert back 14th.

Sounds good. I own my own business so my schedule is whatever I want it to be :D

When do you leave for Japan?

I added a few new things.

- warn elite front bumper
- warn elite back bumper
- warn tire rack
- warn ZEON 10s

Super happy with everything. Can't wait to get out and muddy!

We went to Hollister last week

xBLADEx managed to get super stuck in mud hidden under a crust of dry mud. Luckily my buddies helped me out!

Warn Hi-Jack mount
Red 42" Hi-Jack

Looking for a nice shovel/axe next

I went on an amazing easy but fun off-road adventure today at Los Padres National Park near Carmel, CA. Winding dirt roads with a few bumps through the mountains with some spectacular views.
