WINDROCK End of Summer Pre-Run #3 - May 13-15

So I am confirming 100% in for Friday and Saturday. Im off work, jeep just regeared to 4.88 and ARB installed in the rear with 35 spline shafts. Front is gusseted now too. Pulling the trigger tomorrow on front bumper, winch, and sliders...just slightly concerned about hand tapping like 9 holes on each side of the frame for the LOD's. I feel fine with the drilling, but the tapping I feel like I could booger up. Anyways, I'll be 100% ready by then.

You know what will make you feel better about tapping those holes? Beer, at least 6 of them. You're welcome lol

Wise advice, typically it makes me care less, but, the worries to tend to fade away. "Only 7 of the 9 bolts in the slider properly thread in?"....

So, is anyone else interested in running the "extreme" level group other than Scott? Trying to work on trail plans so want to figure out if we're going to have an extreme group.

If I had the tons in then maybe. But I know I won't have them in before this run, so its a no from me ghost rider

You think my Jeep can take the Extreme group. 35in meats, 6in long arm, winch, lockers f/r body armor all the way around. should have hydro assist steering by then also.

I think anything is doable, just depends on how willing you are to push things. For a TJ, 35s are a minimum requirement, 37s would be recommended, so it's up to you. As of right now, there hasn't been much interest so probably not going to happen.
 
ok np then keep me where I am. I had 37's when I bought the Jeep but blew out a locker. until I upgrade the lockers I am sticking with 35s
 
So, since there wasn't much interest in an Extreme group for this run, we'll scratch that idea and just add another Advanced. Based on the actual amount attending, I will adjust the groups as needed.
