I wanna try and get to the hotel at like 11:30ish so I have enough time to unpack, get some food and get to the trail head. I'll be leaving my house around 7:00 am

In regards to a night run, there's not going to be an official night run. The group running Friday will more than likely be heading off the trail as it gets dark. My plan will be to head back to camp, start a fire and cook some food. If you guys want to head out at night, go right ahead.

Total lies! I'm on the NE side, about 20-25 minutes from Athens and it's a nightmare for me to get to 75 so that 8 can head north.

I hear ya. I have to deal with Atlanta traffic every time I head north from my home. I am in Columbia, SC for a little while with work so I can avoid ATL at least for a little while.

I'm near Cartersville/Canton so the only time I have to deal with it in when I go south! It's smooth sailing anything north for me on 75

All my camping gear is in another city and sleeping in the Jeep before a full day of wheeling doesn't seem like fun...
