Is Scotch Whisky allowed in this thread? If so, I've been drinking Oban Little Bay. It's a non-age stated scotch barreled in small casks. Has a very bourbony quality to it like Balvenie Doublewood (one of my personal favorite every day drinkers.)

A decent, at best, whiskey, two dashes of horrible tasting additives followed with water that taste like ass. So when should we expect a plaid shirt, skinny jeans, beard, a fixed gear bike and other hipster recommendations?

Lol. Sounds weird. It's a spin on a Caribbean old fashioned and I tried something similar at Cane & Table in New Orleans. The restaurants version had premium ingredients. If you've never had a plethora of mixed whiskey/scotch/bourbon drinks, NO is the place to go.
