Lol, nice
I don’t know, he might be more enjoyable if he was. At least we would understand why he is the way he is.View attachment 425689

Didn’t know there is a distillery in Sedona. Annual trip to pick up son from ASU and decided to take a little side trip to chill for a long weekend. Had a good couple good options, but went with the rye for the annual ASU purchase.

They let me taste them all at the attached bar for free. Distillery was closed when I went. They have four options and two I was choosing from. Flavor was good on the Rye. And at 101 proof, heat was nice and not overpowering. They had glass walls from the bar to the distillery and would have been cool to visit when open. Small place. We were leaving the next day.Cool, we are going to check that distillery out next time we visit family.
How is it?
Yea I would say its better in an old fashioned than straight or at least with some ice which I usually drink it with.Ray’s Pipe Dream was nice but pretty sweet and I smelled a strong essence of apple which was kinda fucked up imo.
Well if you're ever down this way, I could at least let you try it. Maybe I'll let Eddie "borrow" one of mine lol.So I just had a very generous pour, aka free double, of Jack Daniels 12 year, followed by @Bullwinckle favorite of Redwood Empire’s Pipe Dream, followed by a Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, yeah I’m chipper atm.
Sorry, no pics.
The JD 12 year was fantastic! I can only imagine what the 15 year is like! (Hook me up @NevadaJohnny) Ray’s Pipe Dream was nice but pretty sweet and I smelled a strong essence of apple which was kinda fucked up imo. The Tullamore was surprisingly awesome for an Irish whiskey- I believe significantly better than Jameson. Anyway, yeah.
