Wife and I managed to find time to sneak out. She located this awesome little bar. To our greater surprise, they had a pretty awesome wall of whiskeys. After a couple $7 old forester old fashions for happy hr. I decided to get a couple pours. A Japanese barrel aged blantons. And a 12 yr weller. Both were killer smooth.

We've got a couple bottles of wine aged in bourbon, whiskey, and anejo tequila barrels. It really makes a tasty wine.

Yeah, I recently had a cab that was aged in a bourbon barrel and I loved it.

Woodford is good, not sure what to compare it to though.

The Woodford Double Oaked is awesome. I also enjoy the Woodford Rye.
