I haven’t tried the Black Label yet, but I did buy my Dad this for Christmas, and it is absolutely amazing. It had better be for the price!

I picked up a few bottles of Kavalan ex-Bourbon Oak as gifts for some clients, and decided to get a bottle for myself. Looking forward to trying it this weekend while camping in Death Valley.

It's the peat moss they dry the barley with. I can't stand that taste either.

Yes. I think American Whiskey / Bourbon has the best flavor profiles compared to Irish or Scotch.
