Just polished off a bottle of Barton’s 1792 bottled in bond and a bottle of Rod and Hammers SLO Made 112 proof Cask.
Need something else to crack open and got to wondering if anyone had seen this chart and if you agree with it or not.
I prefer something with a little, or a lot, of burn but with the sweets and aromas at the end. Back in 2022 I had that Long Covid shit and I’ve lost probably 50% of my taste and smell to never come back apparently. So my enjoying liquor experience has been altered and I now prefer bold flavors.
Demographics here are about 70% Hispanic so Costco stocks a lot of Modelo and tequila, not so much a wide variety of bourbons.
So what has lots of cinnamon and spicy notes, mildly sweet, and burns in a good way?

Was gifted this bottle of Garrison Brothers for Christmas from my Dad. Pretty tasty, there is just a touch of honey, the bourbon is still the main player here.
