Had blue Jays for years and this camera for months. Today is the first one that found the feeder. Must be pretty dumb.

But jays are part of the Corvid family, which produces the smartest birds. According to the first sentence of the first paragraph regarding the Corvid family on Wikipedia:

"Corvids display remarkable intelligence for animals of their size, and are among the most intelligent birds thus far studied."

So maybe most jays are too smart to want to perform for you.
