Which Game Camera

I think I need to set up another game cam or two. Looks like we've got some badger out at the farm and they are turning the place into the surface of the moon!

If there is an upside, the squirrel population has completely vanished but damn, these holes are massive! About a foot in diameter and a couple feet deep.

If you get some time, check out badger trapping on YouTube. Those fuckers are intense. Are you planning on getting rid of them?

Oh yeah, I've encountered them in person before and they really don't give a shit about you, even if you're in a Jeep. They will stand their ground and are fierce.

As far as getting rid of them goes, I don't know. They are AWESOME pest control but the holes they create chasing down vermin are a real problem. Walking over a tunnel and having it collapse on you is one thing and driving over one and having it do the same can be surprising, especially in a tractor.

I don't think so. Mostly twigs.

They are not for sure. Coyotes have 4 toes and a pad in an elongated print and these are 5 and a pad and squashed down print.

damn, they are destructive!

My first encounter with a badger, I was 12yo, never seen one and certainly didn't expect one at the elementary school where I was honing my tennis skills against the wall.

I saw it on the lawn and not knowing what it was, chased it down until it turned on me... yeah, I about shit myself LOL

Notified the wildlife division, they didn't believe me at first given it was the middle of the day but found some tracks and set traps; within 24 hours it was captured.

It was living in the drain gutter by the school.

They are mean bastards.

Just put down boards to walk on.

I know if my dog sees one she’s going after it and she’s going to get a hell of a surprise. We had bobcats out here this spring she ran off I don’t think she’d have the same results with a badger.
