Most areas they are, they have no predators. They just keep multiplying. And anywhere near a city, cities keep building and it pushes them into just about any pocket of vegetation cover. I have a friend near San Diego in a full-blown concrete neighborhood. There's a creek with a few trees behind his house and it's filled with coyotes.

They are in every major city in America. It’s crazy how big the population has gotten in 60 years east of the Mississippi.
