Went to Auctions America for the annual Labor Day weekend auction today


This was beautiful, the bid went to 21k, reserve was 36k

This sold for 12,100

My friend bid this up to 31k and it sold for 32k

Willys in the car corral

The Willy had these hubs, if you look close the bars say free on them and they look like it pulls out on the pins. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

A trip over Hagerman pass today. Wait! thats my daughter's Subaru because my Jeep is still in the shop...... Should pick the jeep up on Tuesday.

Sure got some funny looks but she did great and just got her license two weeks ago.

Oh believe me if I had it my way and maybe a lot of bit more cash it would definitely be happening but alas uncle sam only pays so much. My 3.8 has 114k on it so its pretty tired, once I have it fully paid off I may try to look at my options for a swap but until then, one can dream.

Those Outbacks are darn capable and have some decent ground clearance. Good for her taking on Hagerman. That's a fun trail.
