Hmm never been up in that area looks really nice! I hear ya on the 100 degree weather I escaped to Cayucos for the day today.

Yea this was my first time just doing some exploring up there. It's up Hwy 4 just past Dorrington. We usually run Slick Rock when we're up there so it was kind of a nice change to see something different.
 
Took Ophir Pass over to Silverton from Telluride and then back.
Wife and kid had fun, kid slept most of the return trip.
Not as crowded as I expected for a beautiful summer Saturday.

Another weekend on the beach

Went to the beach for a relaxing day. Couple of beers and plenty of sun. Beautiful tops off weather here in SouthEast Texas.

Looks like the Rugged Ridge 11503.95. That's what I use, it works well. I had to bend it a bit to get it to stop wobbling on the trail, but I like that it's up out of the way.
