Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

Up near the Red River on the TX side. Few miles outside St Joe but felt like a million miles from no where at a buddies 22,000 acre ranch.

My wife and I just got back from our trip up the California coast on Hwy 1. We went from LA to the Oregon border and back. We caught Hwy 1 at Morrow Bay and stayed on it till we hit Oregon. We even did the "Lost Coast Trail" dirt section that goes into an area that was abandoned when they built Hwy 1. We had a blast, did more than 1000 miles round trip, saw some amazing scenery, and even camped among the giant redwoods. Sorry but turns out that pics are too big to upload. Bummer.

North end of Gifford Pinchot National Forest looking north into Mt Rainier National Park. Awesome day, but really aggressive mosquitos!

Ouray and Marble Colorado on our way back home to AZ.

End of a nice day. Time for an IPA from Ouray Brewery and a shot of Honey:honey:

Didn't see you up there! Ralphie and I were up there. Got caught in the storm.

No kidding? I rolled into the valley at about 1030am and bailed out a little before 2pm. It was a last minute decision to head up there. I may head out there next weekend also. We went up to Eliot Mine and pulled out about 50lbs of Amythest. Its had some cave ins since the last time I was there and is getting pretty scary. I don't know how much longer it will be there. We left just as the storm hit.
