Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

2 weekends ago we took the long back way up to Big Bear and ran part of White Mountain. Had the boys drive the JK. We encountered some small obstacles for them to get their feet wet on. We took the bypasses on the sketchy climbs as i didnt want to push anyone past their comfort level. We also found this little cave baby and took her home with us. Side note it's really weird wheeling in an automatic after driving a manual for so long.

It's in that general area. The scenery is insane, and it has switchbacks kind of like black bear pass. They were actually really sketchy when I was up there because there had been a bunch of rain that week and the soil was super soft. I stumbled upon it near the Dolores River on the Utah side. It's actually not in any books or on any of the mapping apps I use. It's a hidden gem for sure! Happy to dm you my gpx map if you're cool with not posting it online.

That looks like the same trail I explored with some friends on a side trip from EJS 2021. Definitely like black bear. As we rounded each switchback I expected the trail to have collapsed and that we’d need to back down! 😳🤣😂

On the trip back over the mountain from Gateway to Moab we found some hippie kids in a pickup camper who had run off the road into the ditch due to the snow. They were high as fuck and had been stuck there about 18 hours. They did not understand that you had to lock the hubs on dad’s F-250. 😂🤣
 
Went to the goat trail in TN with some friends.

I have been on that same trail. From Moab it’s kind of tough to find but an awesome road.

You just never know what you may run across in the desert 😂
