Spent a few days in Moab. Lots of traffic, saw the new Jeeps.




Everyone heading home should be cautious.
The winds are just terrible, saw 2 fires heading south into Arizona.
It looks like it could be a bad year for fires, everything is dry and windy.

Homansville Pass Road. My plan was to take Homansville Pass Road north to Five Mile Pass OHV, but my trip was cut short a few miles in by a squealing throw out bearing.

Oops! Dead end in a box canyon. Time to turn around

Trail damage

Made it back to the highway, then home without any further mishap. Jeep is in the shop having a new Centerforce Dual Force clutch installed. Should be done before the end of the week.

Here's a couple pictures from the Sorrel River Lodge on 128 outside Moab. These were taken Tuesday during Easter Jeep Safari. We were planning on staying the entire week, but the sPod controlling ignition, start, and fuel pumps quit. I did manage to jumper around it, but felt it too risky to do anything but load on the trailer and head home. (sPod discussion will be on another forum)
