A lot people on the cables. Kind of a clustercuss. I ended up descending outside the cables, which was a lot quicker.

Yeah you really can’t see the angle and the exposure from these photos. It was too crowded to take pictures while on the cables. Plus I didn’t want to drop my phone.

Yes...then you could have rolled down the hill afterwards...
 
Was soloing on some trails by myself Saturday morning then came up on a Jeep run from a local bar & joined up with them.

The run leader picked up this Timber Rattler so it didn't get run over & released it later on. LOL, only pic I got was of the rattle buzzing - that's why it looks blurry

Fun day! A rattler is the last thing that I’d want to see on the trail.

We took the two Jeeps out exploring.

We headed over Thomas Mountain to Lake Hemet, then to dinner in Idyllwild, and back home. Nothing hard, but a nice getaway without going too far.
