Death Valley Weekend

Spent a few days in Death Valley and beyond.

Did Motino Wash near Big Bear. Went well until Chill'n the most broke 4 teeth on his front ring gear. 37's on a D30 is no bueno!

It’s crossed my mind a few times to throw 37s on my 30 lol then I see these posts... what gear ratio was he running?

Yep. Ended up just removing the ring gear and kept trucking on in 2Low. His winch got a good workout!

I bet. Glad you made it through, but yeah, only put 37s on a D30 if you're driving to the mall. Just be sure to avoid potholes.

You could have just removed the axles. Been there done that. Lol!

I got 4 years out of mine then......everyone was suddenly right. It did allow me to put some money away to upgrade though! Couple more weeks and I should be rolling again.

Yep should be ready to go in about 3 more weeks. Plenty of time to be all dialed in for Rubicon/Fordyce. Can't wait!
