Wheel spacers

I really like the stock wheels on my 19 jlur. I want to use the apex steering kit. I'd have to use 1 1/2 wheel spacers.
I've heard good and bad on use. What's the opinion here?

Any reason you insist on using the Apex stuff? If you’re sticking with the stock wheels I assume you aren’t going too big on tires as well so is there really a need for an upgrade?
 
Thus is a start of a journey. I have gone to true 35s. My play ground is gonna be moab. I live an hour away. Prob at some point going with2 1/2 lift. Then who know what from there

Actually, if you want to keep your factory wheels, you NEED to be running 1.75" spacers. If you don't, the wheel studs will bottom out on the wheels and prevent proper installation and that is VERY BAD.

That said, I agree with DirtHeadDavis and find it kind of overkill to run something like apex steering just for 35" tires. I know the internet can be really persuasive but really, maybe take a step back from it a bit and buy things you really need and when you actually need it. Just a thought.
