What was done to your rig this week?

Put in some synergy grab handles, I wanted something other than the steering wheel to grab onto when getting in the jeep, work great so far.ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1431322990.901986.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1431323001.257302.jpg

How difficult was the install? I've been thinking of getting some just until budget allows to upgrade to a sports cage.

Not very, the directions are pretty straightforward and it shouldn't take you much more than an hour. The only hiccup I had was this weld spot on my roll bar I had to sand down to get the bracket to fit flush. That's exactly what I'm doing with mine, except the cage is behind a few other items on my list...

Noooice....

Adding hydraulic assist and not doing a drag link flip and track bar raise has had its challenges as room for the ram becomes sparse. Especially if you are trying to make the most of your turning radius. Anyway, I had a ram/d-link interference that needed some attention so I fabbed up a new d-link with a longer straight after the bend. I had actually hoped to make a deeper bend and add a small bend to the driver's side as well, but my cheap harbor freight bender wasn't up to the task and broke after this the one bend LOL.

Please excuse the mess.... I have been hitting project after project and haven't stopped to clean!

Seems like there is plenty of room right....

Well, here you can see that at driver stuff (still not full stuff) and turning to the driver side I still barely have room.

....I also found a good use for RCV 27 spline shafts and made some foot-pegs for the wife :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Installed my new Adams 1310 front drive shaft. Looks good with my other recent add ons Evo protek system and dynomax evolution exhaust. Next up is rock sliders. Leaning towards Evo

Let's see..... new Spark plugs, oil and filter, new front shocks, upper and lower ball joints pass side, axle u-joint pass side, new front rotors and pads, replaced sticking caliper on drivers side front..... rotated tires.... all in all a maintenance filled few days...BUT I finally got rid of my DW!!!!!! looks like the bad ball joints were letting it oscillate way too much. I can now drive over expansion joints without fear!:D

Not too bad for a JKU with 220,000 km on it! Poor thing never stops.

Held my D1 brackets up to the truck. I didn't have any time yesterday to mount and wire when the brackets came.

These were from the old jeep.

Always forget to find this thread..

Installed my G2 D44 rear axle yesterday. Wasn't as bad as I thought, recommend bring a friend though. One person install is a pain. Thanks again Dean454, looking forward to start wheeling this thing!!

Now I just need a driveshaft to start using it.
