What was done to your rig this week?

Since I keep the family jewels elsewhere, there is little in my console which is of value to anyone else unless they are retarded. The most valuable things stored there are spare glasses and sunscreen. If I had a soft top I would be worried anyway and then I see the value from locking things up, but I would not feel secure at all.

The meth-heads who break into vehicles do crazy stupid things and they can do thousands of dollars worth of damage so that your jeep will never be the same. For example, on my old CJ-5, the doors were stolen three times, the soft top was trampled on, someone tried to remove the crappy radio from the dash with a screwdriver, they tried to get into the steering column with a screwdriver, and they stole some cheap Radio Shack speakers.

Even after getting a hard top, they destroyed a lock trying to get in.
 
I know this doesn't fall into this category, and I didn't want to make a thread about it, but this weekend, I help my cousin find his first Jeep. It's a 2018 with only 11k miles. He's excited about the number of wave backs he's been getting.

I originally peeled the hood stickers off because the wife doesn’t like red… but I thought the hood looked plain with out it. Found a compromise online and decided to give it a shot. Still need to figure out the dash replacement. Just about the last bit of red left for her to complain about.

While I love the leather seats, I’m convinced my kids are terrorists and are out to destroy everything they touch. Installed bartact seat covers front and rear.
