First set of skids/protection for Ruby this week
After watching Eddie and Cindy’s videos of Fordyce creek and the Rubicon runs again, I was impressed enough to start getting more serious about protecting my JK and finally finished the first phase this week. I installed the Evap Cannister relocation kit from Nemesis (pain in the ass), added the ARB cover on the rear diff to get rid of the stamped stock cover, installed the Magnaflow Performance exhaust to gain some clearance aft, and installed the Oil Pan ProTek Skid from EVO. It’s amazing how much more comfortable I feel knowing there is a little added protection under me. We ran Charouleau Gap uphill (the harder way) Saturday with 17 Jeeps and it was a blast knowing I could play in the rocks with a little more confidence.
I have noticed a direct correlation between watching Wayalife videos and spending money.
Here is the new aft view with the muffler gone and the added clearance/

I like those! I just had to reshape the bolts for my skids to get them back on. Do the factory bolts fit in them or do you have to replace the bolts?
