Basic tools go under the rear seat, recovery gear and spare parts goes on the interior cargo rack, the rest goes on top of the jeep . And we barely go on hardcore stuff, mostly hov parks and easy to mild trails.

The best $28 spent on our Jeep

I don’t know why I waited so long to install this. A 40lb lift to assist in opening and keeping the gate open. Works good when you’re on a slope and the gate wants to close. Not anymore.

New power steering pump on the JKRU. In the midst of fun beach driving the power steering quit! (8 hour drive from home.) Sheared the pulley shaft. On-line instructions said to use a pulley removal tool, but that simply ruined the pulley. At least it’s all back together now and works great. 2018 means putting out the coin for a hydraulic assist unit.
