I have not done a build thread as I purchased “Rocky” from a friend who did a lot of the work. He only put a few miles on it after he put the Hemi, trans and Atlas in. After a few trips, I found a few things that needed sorting out. I also just joined this forum following my purchase and will continue to share my progress and solicit advice and recommendations for future projects. My next project is adding PSC power assist. I have most of the components and if anyone has tips for install w/ or w/o a Hemi conversion, it would be most appreciated[emoji106]

new steering u joints
rebuilt front drive shaft
new tire ( cut a sidewall a little )
rewired cb due to previous owner having a duh moment and thinking duct tape was cool instead of electrical tape

thank god it was just a easy trail roflmao :yup:
 
Looks like I might need a fairlead, maybe a new winch rope some new hood latches and repair the hood.. it was a fairly big traffic light. I knocked that day off its foundation

That sucks but glad your ok. If you need a new fairlead I have one I took off of mine because I'm running synthetic rope now so you can have it if you pay for shipping. As far as I can tell it's in pretty good shape. I never used it bc there was no winch when we bought the Jeep, someone had taken it off and left the roller faielead. We ship stuff through our work with UPS all the time....so I might even be able to ship it for free possibly? PM me if you have any questions

Grrr, J10 stalled twice today. Lesson learned, just because the electric fuel pump makes noise, it doesn't mean it's pumping fuel.

Isolated the issue down to the fuel pump relay. First clue was when I tapped the relay ever so slightly, fuel began to flow and the fuel pump was noticeably louder.
Replaced relay, checks good.

Sounds like this heap's a piece of shit and on its last legs. Time to get rid of it. I know someone that would probably grudgingly take it off of your hands ;)
