What size air hose for onboard air system?

This thread exists because America is the Land Of First World Problem. We can afford the minutia. Instead of wondering when our next meal is coming, we wonder if it's better to get steak & lobster from a steakhouse or lobster shack and make fun of those asking the question. After all, it's better to grill both in your backyard. Dammit, we take our First world Problems seriously!

Do I actually care if I can air up my tires quicker with a single hose, 4 way hose, dual compressor, single compressor, 3/8 inch or 1/4 inch hose? Nope. Just what lets me air up in a reasonable time without taking a knee at each tire when it's dark, cold, muddy and snowing sideways.

*SIGH*

The restriction is in the valve stem. You can use a 1" hose but it still has to go through the stem, so unless you're changing your valve stems as well, there isn't a gain in this application.
Especially on the JL stems, those suckers breath through a 1/16” hole drilled in the side since the TPMS sensor screws into the end of the stem.

I have the ARB 1/4" hose in my wife's JL on 35's and a 3/8" harbor freight hose with "high volume" couplings in my JK. Running single ARB compressors in both jeeps. They both fill up the tires fine.
